I’ve enjoyed working with seniors for their portraits since starting to photograph, and always encourage the family to also do a session before they find themselves dropping their little one off at college. These pictures always capture a unique moment in time when a family makes a big transition.
Had a great time with Marianne of Reiki Tahoe creating beautiful portraits for her website for a great representation of her work and personality.
It’s beach time! A light winter started spring early here in the Sierras, so I’ve been doing sessions on the beach for a few months now. Here’s one of the first photo shoots of the beach season with a great family and great light.
This beautiful family had a lot of fun in our studio and we got some wonderful shots!
I loved shooting this beautiful family on this rock cropping this summer! Nature can provide a wonderful juxtaposition for family portraits. A solid rock foundation with a soaring blue sky above Lake Tahoe to frame your family is a great way to capture your loved ones in a timeless photograph!
One of the last in our 2012 senior portrai series, Kelly shines in her senior shots done at Skylandia beach.
Super fun to shoot this senior skater! Any time you involve your passion with your portraits, its a winning combination. Nash did a great job showing his serious side, and his seriously fun side!
Sometimes a last minute decision for family portrait photography is worth it. This family of 18 got together and we managed to get some great shots to remember everyone .
Rachel had a great time during her senior session last summer. Here’s some of the photos
Brooke Butler of http://brookebutlerhealing.com/reiki/ and I went to the top of Lake Tahoe for her business shots. It was absolutely stunning up there. We definitely went the alternate route for her alternat style of business. Bt the way if you ever need your mojo fixed, she will definitely get you sorted.
