Portrait Tips
A beautiful family or individual portrait is a team effort between the subject/s and the photographer. Together we can create a beautiful photograph or collection of photographs to display prominently in your home.
If you are planning on a wall portrait, when choosing your outfits, be sure to fit the decor of your home.
Groups Keep it similar, similar tones, dress style and pant and sleeve length
Solid colors work well, darker colors really make the people in the shot stand out
Stripes and patterns really stand out in a group, so if you plan on looking like a group, stick with solids
The kids
Kids usually do better in the mornings
It’s OK to bribe them, I have small toys to bribe them with!
Make sure they are fed before the shoot, and faces wiped clean
